Since Radiator was first launched a number of imitation products have come on to the market. While we’ve always know our products perform better we now have the results to prove it.
Independent testing has proven Radiator's 4 layer closed cell material to be:
24% warmer
9% lighter when dry
5% lighter when wet
43% more slippery on the inside for better movement and less fatigue
30% better memory – for better fit
19% less water absorption
Lasts twice as long
The above results are based on Independent Testing conducted by RMIT University on Radiator 0.5mm material against the material of another leading brand. View the RMIT raw data (PDF).
Paddling tests conducted by university researchers also concluded that wearing a Radiator Vest can result in up to 10% higher body temperature in the chest and forearm. This enables a better range of motion, improved blood flow resulting in less energy expenditure, and more quality time in the water with better performance.
